Killing Me Softly (no times remix)
When I heard the first demos of Spleeter, I began thinking about how it could be used to remove song blemishes.
Ever since The Score came out in 1996, hearing Lauryn Hill's amazing voice juxtaposed with Wyclef's has always been nails on a chalkboard to me.
Using Spleeter, I separated the track into four stems: vocal, drums, bass & other. And then, using Audacity, I copied & pasted Wyclef out of the song.
It’s far from perfect and has the audio phantom limb of Wyclef, but I got to hear a rough cut of the song that I always wanted.
